The Fastest Way to Self-acceptance
Last week I went to Los Angeles for a T Harv Eker
Seminar: Master Your Mind.
It was three days of intensive workshop presented
by the world experts in each category.
It was awesome!
One of the presenters (Brian Altman, former
student of Milton Erikson) has become
the world expert in self-hypnosis. He works
with Harvard University and the U.S. Olympic team.
He also teaches his techniques in India and all around the world.
He is the doctor "of last resort" for Keysey
Clinic and other top clinics in the country.
Each time he goes to India he asks to
meet with a guru.
He always has two questions which he asks the gurus:
1- What is the most important thing in life?
2- What is your favorite technique?
One guru told him her favorite technique, and
it was so simple that Altman almost regretted the
three day trip he took to get to see her.
But when he sat down and actually practiced
it, he realize the depth and power of this exercise.
It is a simple breathing exercise that brings about
a deep sense of self-acceptance.
Self-acceptance brings you into total alignment
with your source. It gives you a sense of wellbeing
and peace which nothing compares to.
Self-acceptance is the first step to happiness
in life. It is at the core of all relationships you
have with others. The more you love and accept
yourself --like source does-- the more you love
and accept others.
Another advantage of this exercise is
that it feels wondrously good.
Although I have always had a hard time staying focused on my
breathing without feeling bored or my mind wandering, for the first time
ever it was not only easy to focus but very enjoyable.
This is the reason I decided to share this technique with you.
At LAX, as I was waiting at the gate for my flight home, I closed
my eyes and began this exercise. It felt so good
I didn't want to stop. I might have been in this state
of bliss for at least half an hour.
The fantastic thing about it is how fast it it brings
you into a state of peace and quiet. From this place of stillness you can
communicate easily with your inner wisdom and infinite intelligence, asking
questions and hearing the answers.
It is so much fun.
You can also make affirmations to create your life.
If you want more information go to:
http://www.self-hypnosis.com
or Google Brian Altman. He is really out of this world!
He was by far my favorite speaker!
Here are the instructions for the technique:
Relax and close your eyes. Observe your breath. There are
four steps to your breathing... the breath in, the breath out, and the
two moments where your breath changes direction.
Now, accept your breath totally. When you accept your
breath you accept yourself totally. Accept your breath
when it is shallow, in the belly, in the throat, rapid, slow... it has
absolutely no importance. Accept it fully and completely.
You will see your breath changing at each breath. Just
accept it. Go with the flow. Release any sense of wanting to control
it. Just relax and accept it. Focus on the feeling of acceptance.
After you have done this for a while, then begin,
with every breath out, to think of your name.
It is when you breathe out that you accept the most... when
you let go the most. By thinking your name when
you breathe out, you accept yourself fully.
Release any thoughts of criticism, of judgment; just
feel your breath and accept it. Think your name as
you exhale.
Now you are in a relaxed state, an alpha state.
In this state you have total access to your infinite
intelligence, to your unlimited power and
knowledge, to your source energy.
Just ask a question and listen. You can use a
pen and your non-dominant hand to write what
you receive. You can draw, begin doodling,
anything that you are inspired to do.
You can ask questions to your body... to parts that
are in pain. You will receive answers that will
amaze you. Accept anything you get. Listen.
Last week's subject of my newsletter was about
how to communicate with your inner being.
This week I got the answer!
Thank you Universe.
Enjoy,
