Dream Board Galore

Last week when I was at "Master Your Mind"
in Los Angeles we had a marvelous session
on how to prepare Dream Boards.

And once again it answered my
deepest question: How to communicate better
with my Inner Being?

Making a dream board is a wonderful way to
both have fun and do something that will
inspire you, remind you of your dreams and
aspirations, and help you continually focus your attention
on them.

Melissa Wadsworth presented the class.
She is an expert in the domain.

We learned that there are two types of
dream boards. One is consciously directed;
the other is intuitive.

Perhaps you have already made your own dream board
and hung it on your office wall. It may be that you used
your conscious mind when you chose your pictures.

I strongly encourage you to do a new one
that is purely intuitive. Actually, if you love dream
boards, you can do as many as you want to.

It will not cease to fascinate you.

It is a marvelous activity.

So, here are some instructions for creating
a purely intuitive dream board:

Sit in front of a large piece of thick paper with scissors,
glue, and a tall pile of magazines.

Before you begin to choose and cut out pictures, ask yourself these two
questions:

1- What is my intention for this dream board?
Is it clarity about a career priority, to manifest a
romantic relationship, to change thinking about
what you can achieve, etc.

2- Now, ask a question.
For example:
"What do I need to do right now?"
"How would I like to feel about my life path?"
"What would nourish me mentally, emotionally,
spiritually or physically?"
Remember, you need to ask
for what you want before the universe can deliver.

When you set out to create a dream board, and
when you ask your inner being a question, the dream
board itself is a prime way for you to be guided.

Once you have determined your intention for the dream
board and you have asked your higher self a question,
you are ready to begin.

Go through your magazines and pick out what you love...
what makes you tick.
Do not filter anything!
(It is your conscious mind that attempts to filter; but you want this dream board to be intuitive.)
Just pick, cut, and paste.

Let your Inner Being guide you.

My neighbor at the conference had a big "Ah ha!"
after the exercise.
He realized, once he looked at his earlier dream board,
that all he had picked was stuff that he would never
allow himself to buy. He realized that he gives
a lot, but never gives himself anything.

So enjoy the discovery and the fun of the process.

Warmly,
Colette
