Are you fuming with anger and frustration?

Joe, a friend of mine has been struggling with a project
that is not going to close on time, and he is
feeling more and more frustrated and angry about it.

People, circumstances and events are not cooperating
with him...at all. He is fuming and I can see it clouding
the sky downtown Houston.

It is easy when you are in this state to forget how the universe
works and what you could do differently.

You are on a row, and it is hard to stop the machine...

So, Joe is doing what everyone else does in these
circumstances: He keeps pushing, keeps complaining,
keeps taking actions that lead nowhere.

STOP! I want to tell him: There is only one thing to do...

Let me first tell you how I found out what is
to be done:

I was listening to Abraham-Hicks this morning
in search of guidance as I was thinking of
how I could help Joe. I was racking my brain to come up
with the most effective way to deal with his issue.

The answer came loud and clear to me. I was listening
to Abraham-Hicks, and I heard what Abraham often
says--but this time I listened differently:
"First, you ask"-- and my friend has asked this is
for sure.

"but then", Abraham says, "people hold
themselves apart from what they are wanting."

What does it mean exactly, I was pondering? Can you tell
it to me in a simple word or two?

And I got it. It's a question of FOCUS of attention!

It dawned on me, that Joe was actually
focusing all his attention on what he was NOT
wanting. He had totally lost focus on what
HE wanted!

He was holding himself apart from what he was
wanting!

Once, I got this clear understanding, the
solution was obvious to me.

Abraham always advices to shift your
thoughts gradually from frustration to another
emotion upper on the ladder, like hope.

Joe can look for hopeful thoughts by remembering
similar situations that went well, or imagining them,
or just finding thoughts that feel better.

This approach is helpful if you don't know any
belief management processes and techniques
like - EFT, BSFF, Avatar, ZPoint, etc...

As I know most of you do have such a tool at
your disposal (if you don't, I explain the best tool
in my e-book*), you can then use the following
process. It is much easier, and faster.
I have used it for years.

Step 1: STOP, and State what you are wanting.
We often totally forget to define what we want.
So, spend some time finding a statement that
would clearly define what you want. You can even
write it on a piece of paper.
...you see you are already shifting your attention :)

Step 2: Repeat your statement out loud, and then
immediately listen to your inner dialogue. You will
hear your negative thoughts, doubts, etc...
Catch one of them eg:
"Jane is doing it on purpose" ...see the fume? ;)

Step 3: Use EFT or your favorite belief management
tool you know and dissolve this thought till
you feel it has no more power over you.

Step 4: Repeat steps 2 and 3 till there is no more
doubts, fears, etc. till you can state your goal and
feel in alignement with it.

Take your time. Once you are clear, you don't have
anything else to do.

When you reach that point you feel good about your
creation. You feel either hopeful, excitement, or know that
it will be OK.

Now you will be able to hear your
guidance system, so listen, the answer is coming!
Your next step will be inspired!

You have just saved yourself hundreds of more frustrating
hours or hard work and mis-aligned actions.

So, when you are fuming... there is only one thing to do:
STOP focusing on the problem and begin putting
all your attention on what you actually want!

Warmly,
Colette
