Oh How Savory the Flavor of Anger!
Do you know the one entity that usually remains as
the only obstacle between you and your dream life?
The only reason you feel "down the ladder" all the time?
The only reason you don't feel your own power and potential?
What blocks your enthusiasm?
The only reason you don't have the will to change your situation?
Why it is that you seem frozen in place?...depressed, anxious,
unsuccessful in breaking through to the next level of success in
your life?
Do you realize the name of this imprisoning monster who
prevents you from being all you can be?
Yes, it is truly a monster. Many people are so afraid of it...
afraid of its consequences... and afraid of others who act like
the monster...
...that they avoid it at all costs! And they remain stuck forever.
But what is it exactly?
To find out what it is, you just need to remember Abraham-
Hicks' ladder of emotions.
What is the rung above fear, unworthiness, despair,
guilt, depression, powerlessness, insecurity, and hatred?
It is the wonderful vibration of anger!
Anger is the necessary step towards feeling empowered,
content, self-confident, and passionate about life.
And here is the problem:
There are several flavors of anger; one of them is delicious,
and the others are repulsive and disgusting.
The problem is that we all know about the disgusting
ones, but few of us really understand that there exists
a delicious anger with a wonderful outcome.
This anger feels invigorating, doesn't hurt others,
and brings you quickly back into alignment with source!
In the last few weeks I have been serving delicious anger on
a plateau for my clients to taste...
and discovered it was not always easy to whet their appetite
so they could appreciate its sweetness and enjoy it fully.
Society, families, and the media have made a mess of this
flavor...
So much so that some people have no easy access to it
and remain stuck on a low rung, not knowing how to climb.
I had a client this week who experienced this problem.
When I asked Jane (who was in despair) to be angry,
I noticed that even when I coached her with the correct beginning
French... ( "I am pissed off about...!"), and I heard her say the
right words...
"I am pissed about this and that!", the real vibration was
still "Poor me. I am a victim of this person who is doing
this to me. How awful this is."
I let her go for a while, but after a time, I needed
to help her out.
In order to help her move up the ladder, I had to
coach her differently with new statements such as:
"I am pissed and I am not going to let anyone do that
to me again!"
"And this is the last time this will happen! Nobody is going
to tell me what I need to think or do! I decide from now on...
I will see this situation like this..."
"I will not wait for him to do this while I feel powerless;
I will take the reins into my own hands and do it myself...
I can do it. I don't depend on anyone to do this for me!"
etc...
And soon Jane realized how much more powerful she
felt! She was back in alignment!
This anger flavor is really sweet! I think it has been called
"righteous indignation".
Notice: it is the way to recover your power!
Direct your attention towards a thought that
feels more empowering. There is truly nothing more
empowering than making a decision... Deciding something.
For example, decide that no person or situation has
any power over you unless you allow it,
and that you will no longer allow it, ever. It is over!
Keep going...look inside for what YOU can do!
Find the decisions YOU can make!
There two types of decisions you can make:
The first is to change how you think.
There is common limiting notion that many people
entertain. It goes like this:
" I need someone to do this for me, because I am unable to
do it without them". This is a very disempowering belief.
You can easily understand how it keeps you down the ladder.
Instead, think: "I don't need this person, I can find it in
myself or I will find another person to help me. There
are plenty of ways to find the help I desire."
There is another one of these suckers:
"This other person (my mate, family member, etc.)
will have to change for me to be happy."
This thought is a true dumb-bell; you may as well
nail yourself to the bottom of the ladder if this is your belief.
"I can change how I think, and let him think what he thinks.
I can let go and accept his thinking instead of fighting it. I can
release the resitance and go with the flow there..."
These replacement thoughts will move you along more easily.
Listen! These automatic beliefs are pure illusions!
You are source energy! Remember, there is always a solution...
another way to do something... another person to help you...
another choice of thought, etc...
Once you begin to look for options, you'll find them. It is law!
Note that as long as you remain in a powerless vibration,
you have no access to resourceful thoughts, ideas, and
solutions. But as soon as you raise your vibrations to anger,
there you gain access to new positive thoughts and solutions
that you could never access before! All because you changed
your vibrations.
I repeat: It is so important! Low on the ladder you will see
no solutions, and this is perfectly normal. You have no access
to solutions at this level. That is why it is so crucial to
raise your vibration through anger.
The other decision you can make to help you get back into
your power (climb up the ladder) is to look for actions you
can decide to take right now:
You will know when you have reached total alignment with
source when you decide that "No matter what,
I will get there! I will make it happen even if it takes...
whatever!"
You will have a nobody will stop me! attitude.
Remember, this power will only surface once you get a taste
of the delicious, positive flavor of anger. Your inner power is then
released and you are back in alignment with your source energy!
