Bliss or No Bliss; That is the Question

Abraham-Hicks often talks about the bliss that one feels when one lives
in alignment with their Source Energy while going down the river.

"Going down the river" is a wonderful analogy, but if you are like me, you
want to find a practical way to integrate this idea into your life.

You may wonder: "What state of being or types of thoughts will help me
to flow down the river?"

But before answering this question, let's just understand why being in
alignment is such an important situation.

Being in alignment with Source means that you feel bliss and happiness
in your life...isn't this the only reason we do all of the things we do in our lives?

But this is not all. Aligning with Source Energy is going to lead you
to all of your creations. All you ever dreamed of already exists, but it is
down the river... waiting for you.
The faster you go down the river, the faster you receive your creations.

Going upstream is what slows the process tremendously.

When you are really flowing, you get to a place where you think and
desire something and it actually shows up in your life.

This is something I experience on a daily basis and something you can
experience too... once you know how to go with the flow.

So... do you want to go with the flow?

I hope so.

It is surprisingly easy. There is an easy way to know which way you
are going.

When you are offering thoughts that are in alignment with Source
Energy, you offer no resistance to "what is", and you feel great.

When you are rowing your boat upstream, you are thinking thoughts that create
tension and resistance to "what is"... and you feel "bad".

So... all we have to do to find out whether you are going in the direction of the
flow is to focus on how you feel.

Let's experience how the thoughts you have are affecting how you feel, and
this will allow you to discover if you are going with the flow.

I want you to feel the feeling in your body as you read the following
statements.

Which feels better?

So let's begin. Focus your mind and try your best to get into the feeling
of these thoughts.

Here we go:

"I really don't want this to happen."

Now, stop and wonder: How do I feel? Focus on your body sensations. Do
you feel some resistance, some discomfort?

Compare it now with how you feel when you think the following thought:

"This is temporary. What is, is what is. Let's just accept it fully."

Do you feel yourself breathing deeper, feeling a relief of some kind of
tension?
This is it. You are going with the flow.

Note that I have not chosen these thoughts at random.

They represent the main characteristics of Source Energy (see in
parentheses).

Now keep going. After each statement, pause and feel what you feel. You
will soon develop a way to know when you are going upstream.


"This is bad for me, my health, the world."


"This is one experience of life; it is one way among the millions to
experience life and it is OK."
(Non-judgment.)


"I am worried and in fear."

"I feel a deep peace no matter what. I can find a sense of peace
anywhere."
(Everything is OK.)

"I feel powerless in my life"

"There is no limit to what I can create as Source Energy."
(Unlimited power.)

"I don't understand this person. I would never do that."


"This person is just like me, she/he is trying to be happy. I have done
something similar before, and I understand that this person acts out of
fear. I have compassion for her/him."
(Compassion.)

"I need to hide a part of my life. I am shameful about it. I have to
keep this secret."


"I am me. I really show who I am. I am human and have weak points but I
am willing to take responsibility for my actions, realizing I sometimes
still act out of fear and I forgive myself. I have nothing to hide."
(Authenticity.)


"I am separate and alone."


"I am connected."
(Connectedness, sense of Oneness.)


"I am a victim of this situation. I cannot do anything."


"I always have a choice. I can choose my thoughts. This may not change
my situation immediately, but it will change my experience in it.
I am Source Energy, and I am able to choose my thoughts and create new realities."
(Creator)

"I am guilty of..."


"I take full responsibility for my actions and my situation. I
recognize that I have not taken the best actions, but that I have the ability
and willingness to change and make amends."
(Self-love, self-forgiveness, responsible.)


"I hesitate to take action. I don't feel like doing what I need to do.
I resist taking action."


"I am flowing. I am doing things as I am inspired to do them, and as I
decide to do them. I move with the current."
(Taking inspired actions.)


"I love this person, but only when she/he does what I want them to do."


"I love this person no matter what. I may not appreciate what he/she
does, but I still love and appreciate the human being they are."
(Unconditional love.)


This exercise will give you a clear experience of how it feels to be in
alignment with Source and go downstream.... Go with the flow.

Knowing that the most important thing for your growth as a creator is to "feel good", Keep checking how you feel when you think your thoughts this week.


This will immediately tell you if you are flowing down the river
towards your dreams and desires, or if you are going upstream against the
flow.

Remember: everything you ever wanted is downstream!
