The Secret to Dramatically Reduce Your Food Cravings
Wednesday I am invited to talk the Woodlands EFT group (Emotional
Freedom Techniques).
As a practitioner of EFT I am going to teach them a special EFT
technique that treats in 10 minutes or less a debilitating food craving.
You know the kind of food craving, like chocolate for example, where
you cannot stop eating till there is none anymore in the box!
Yes, I am sure most of you know what I am talking about.
But, as I was thinking of this special technique it dawned on
me that the secret to its effectiveness is based on one of the principle
of the law of attraction: what you resist persists.
Yes, you see when you resist something, anything, a portion of your
attention is on the issue and is resisting the issue/thought/emotion/desire.
So, as long as your attention is stuck on something, it
keeps creating on automatic. Your attention is your creative
energy.
So, coming back to the secret to treating food cravings...are you
ready?
Well, it is to treat it as an allergy!
Yes, an allergy. But beware, we are not talking
about the traditional allergy diagnosed by your doctor, here.
The kind of allergy we are talking about is much more subtle
and vicious. In this case your body is reacting to the frequency of the
substance.
You know that everything is pure energy --electrons and protons,
subatomic particles etc...vibrating at a certain frequency. The only
difference between each thing in the universe is its different frequency
of vibration. For example the colors you
can see are different only because of their different frequency.
So, to come back to our treatment of cravings, in energy
therapy all we need to do is help the cells of the body
recognize and accept the specific frequency of the substance it is
"allergic" to.
The cells are in fact resisting a certain vibration!
Woa! and what you resist persists...so in this specific case,
the body creates a craving, a desire for what it doesn't want!
Vicious...isn't it.
I know that treating the craving as an allergy to a specific vibration
works because I have been helping many clients with this approach
in the last 5 years. Actually, at one point I thought I could make it
my entire practice...but I am much more than a craving specialist...
so I let it go.
Judy was addicted to Coca Cola and drank 7-10 a day. After one
treatment she could shift to another healthier drink without any problem.
Malissa used to eat two bags of chips a day...after the treatment I did with
her in one of my seminars, she not only stopped eating the chips, but told
me several weeks later that she had actually totally
forgotten about them. It was not in her universe anymore, as she explained.
A few weeks ago I was invited to give a session to a group of graduating
yoga
teachers in Houston. Jane, one of the new teachers,
was in the room, and she reminded me that the treatment I did on her when
I was giving a demonstration at the Reliant Center
in downtown Houston three years ago. It was still holding! I treated her on
stage on her addiction to m&ms...and since then she is in total control of
her
chocolate eating.
And the stories go on and on...

subject to the law of attraction!
