The Super Power of Decision

One day, when I was still living in Paris, I made such a super powered decision. It was the result of a question, and the answer was literally around the corner.

My father lived far away and he asked me to find him an apartment, within a certain price, that would be just a few minutes walking distance from me and close to all the shops and the metro station.

It wouldn't have been a problem if I had plenty of free time, but I was a young mother, exhausted by months of lacking sufficient sleep, having to breastfeed my newborn son every two hours. I was also alone most of the time since my husband Eric was away traveling. I had just moved to this unfamiliar city myself, and I had no family members or friends to help me.

It may be unnecessary to tell you that I had many other things I needed to do myself other than walking around visiting apartments in the few minutes of spare time that I could find.

But finally one day, I had a good nights sleep and I felt refreshed. Val was asleep and I had exactly one hour before the next breastfeeding!

It was now or never!

I left the building, pushing Val in the stroller. Then I stopped, focused my mind, and made the following decision: "I will find the perfect apartment for my father within one hour".

I began walking towards the only real estate agency I knew of. After about 10 minutes I heard a loud "turn right!" in my mind. I looked to the right. There was a dark street, the width of one car only, which looked like some vestige of the middle-ages. I could see no sign of business or light in the street.

The thought came to me, "I will not go into this dark street with a baby in a stroller. No way!" So I continued on. But a second later, I heard again (but this time so loud that it startled me): "Turn right!!!"
That time I listened. I thought that even though it would certainly take me on a detour, I would accept the guidance of my strong intuition.

Fifty feet down the ancient street, on my left, I saw a new real estate office which had just opened for business. They didn't even yet have a sign. But, in the window, they did have a sign for the one property-- and only thing! -- they were looking to sell: the first level of a beautiful stone house. The picture showed the various rooms, as well as a small garden in front and in the back. It was totally renovated, and it was in the price range that would fit my father's budget.

I poked my head in the door and asked if it was still available.

The agent said yes, and she offered to walk with me to the place immediately! We did, and I it turned out to be a mere 5 minute walk from my apartment! And it was even closer to the metro... just around the corner.

After we returned to the real estate office I called my father to tell him that I had found the perfect "apartment" for him :)

This is the power of focus and decision!

Abraham-Hicks writes:
"My purpose is to see through these physical eyes, to utilize fully this wondrous, pointed physical contrasting experience, to evaluate, to analyze, to perceive, to peruse,
and most importantly ---TO DECIDE....

My purpose is to allow the perfect contrast to stimulate DECISION within me, for decision is the power of focus."

When there is a specific creation I want to make, I regularly ask myself:
"Do you decide this?... or are you still worrying, afraid, and feeling that others are deciding for you about this?"

If I answer clearly "Yes, I decide to do this, no matter what, and no matter how long it will take", then I know that the creation is literally around the corner. And I rejoice in advance of its coming forth.

If, to the contrary, I feel fear or doubts, I simply know that I am not in total alignment yet. I know that I have some work to do to align. I patiently wait for the universe to either bring me slowly in alignment, by bringing about necessary events, or by bringing information to me that helps me to get into alignment. This happens as my intention is clear about desiring to get into alignment. Or I use the tools I have to manage my beliefs.

You can do the same.

If you don't have a very effective and simple belief management tool you may want to learn how to use the Q-Word
(The Q-Word is a belief management technique I have adapted to help people create and get in alignment).
It helps release fears and doubts and align people to their creation. The Q-Word method is fully explained in the e-book "M-Power". For more information go to: http://www.creationmastery.com/bookstore.html

Get into decision mode!
Your creation will be just around the corner.

Warmly,
Colette
