How to
Discover Holes in Your Hose?
Last week we talked about the importance of finding out what are the
holes in your hose. And for those who have not followed our
conversation let me just summarize:
The creation process is like shooting water through a hose, the water
represents the creative energy and the plant that is watered is your
creation.
When there are holes in your hose (doubts and fears), your creative
energy is shooting in every direction but where you want it to go.
Now, the most important question of all is: How do you find the holes
in the hose?
Without finding the holes and plugging them, your plant will never
have enough creative energy to shoot off the ground.
So, your goal should be to discover as many of them as possible.
In the past people would do the opposite. They would try to convince
themselves by repeating their affirmation as often as possible, that
there were no holes.
Well, it may work, if you have very few holes, and if you have a lot
of patience and persistence.
But if you are like me, I don't have the time, energy, and even the
courage to repeat a statement that feels so untrue that it is
drilling holes in my stomach.
And when your are creating a very challenging goal, you will feel
like the pain in the pit of your stomach, I tell you.
So, to make your creation much more enjoyable and fast, you will need
to face reality, find the holes and plug them ASAP.
And like my friend Amy (who is coaching with me the Lightening
Fast Results Tele-seminar at the moment), shared with us last
week:
Amy actually carved out of her schedule two hours last
week to work on her goal. And she literally was flabbergasted by the
number of beliefs and thoughts that bubbled up as she was doing the
process.
She couldn't believe how much holes there were in her hose. She
kept finding thoughts and dissolving them as they came up for 90
minutes in a row! No wonder she had never been able to launch her
project... there was no water coming out of the hose.
So, to go back to the question of how you find them:
One of the most effective ways I have found is to "provoque" them.
Yes, thoughts are a lot like us. They don't like competition. They
will fight for their survival. If a competitive thought is brought
in, it triggers their survival instinct and they will come to the
surface to fight.
So, how do you provoque them?
Well, you focus your attention on what you want to create, state your
goal out loud with as much conviction as you can, and then listen.
You will immediately have one or more thoughts popping up in your
mind. Don't judge them, just dissolve them one after the other.
To do just that, use any powerful belief management tools you know or
what I consider the fastest and easiest one, the Q-Word Method.

Amy realized that she would never have been able to get to 100% of
alignment (no more holes) without that super power tool. She knew it
would have taken weeks of work to find and dissolve the number of
beliefs that came out, using the tapping technique she knows.
The fact that the Q-Word is so fast, --it takes only seconds to
dissolve a thought--, she was able to finish her alignment session
in 90 minutes or so.
The result was that she was immediately able to see the results of
her creation. The next day she had already began working on the
project she had been putting aside for months.
The holes in the hose are really the only thing between you and your
creation.
If your creation is important enough to you--good test to see if you
truly want your creation, Carve out one hour or more out of your
schedule where all you do is bring up to the surface as many
thoughts, fears, doubts as possible and eliminate them using your
Q-Word.
So, to summarize: Make sure that you have plenty of time without
interruption.
1- State out loud your affirmation with as much conviction as
possible.
2- listen to what thoughts are popping up in your mind. There you will
be surprised by what you find out.
3- use the Q-Word to dissolve the thought.
4- Repeat your affirmation out loud again with as much conviction as
possible.
Keep finding the holes and if you keep at it till you have plugged
all of them, you will feel a tremendous lightness and a sense of
excitement that you are in perfect alignment with your creation.
At that point, you know your creation is done. Now you just have to
listen for your intuition and guidance.
Beware, listen! Very often you will have brilliant ideas popping into
your mind as soon as your hose is fully functioning and you are total
alignment with your creation. Your creation is often delivered as
ideas and solutions you never thought about before.
