Do Not
Set Any Goals This Year!
I know, I know...you are thinking that the champagne is still active in my
brain. but let me tell you what you need to do instead...
Make a PROMISE to yourself!
Last spring, I met Bill Bartman (The unknown Billionaire) and he told us how
he
became a billionaire. He said to us "don't set a goal, your brain knows that
you will miss one out of two. Make a promise to yourself."
Yeah, so what.
But think about it
When you make a promise to yourself, you don't give the Universe any choice
anymore. And the Universe likes that. It likes to be commanded, to be bossed
around.
So, when you make a promise, you cannot let anything get in your way. You
are
decided. No matter what you will get it done or create it.
This is the type of focus and intention the Universe loves. It will answer
very
fast.
So, now you may feel ready to act. The problem is you don't know what
promise
your want to make to yourself.
Here are three easy steps to create your promise list.
1- sit and write down: work area leisure area health area
family/relationship
area money area
2- List three priorities per area for this year ex: Leisure: go to France in
vacation this summer
3- Chose in each area the most important priority for you. Circle it.
Now you have a list of a few promises to make to yourself.
Note that by making a promise, you are making a decision. And being in a
decisive state of mind is the most powerful state you can be in to create
your
reality.
The Universe obeys decisions to the dot!
As soon as you have made a decision/promise to yourself, the Universe will
begin to guide you.
Now is time to listen to your hunches, and intuition.
You have asked. It is on its way! Look around, expect it.
It will come disguised as ideas, inspiration, people you meet, books you
find,
actions you want to take...
Let me give you the latest example in my life.
I helped out on the "Feed 3 million children in 33 days" campaign. As a gift
I
received several free tele-seminars. I chose one with Robert Allen: one
minute
millionaire.
As my intention is now very clear, I have made a promise to myself: I am
going
to earn enough passive income with my books etc. that Eric, my dear husband
and
soul mate, can stop working for the rest of his life. I am so grateful for
the
support he gave me all these years that I want to give him the biggest gift
of
all: total freedom to do whatever he wants--he actually wants to drill wells
in
Africa.
So with that creation in mind, I get into the seminar to learn more about
creating passive streams of income.
The first week we had to visualize our dream house so I found myself in
Greece
in a beautiful house. In the office there was a large flat screen on the
wall
set to show all the PayPal payments I was receiving (my metaphor for passive
income).
Well, guess what I receive for Christmas from Eric (he didn't know anything
about the visualization). I received the exact flat gigantic screen for my
computer I had visualized a week earlier!
And it even gets better.
The second week Robert told us about a scholarship program he was creating
for
a small number of motivated people. He was looking for people who would
accept
their story to be used as testimonials on TV, radio, etc.
Yesterday, I learned that I was accepted! I will have access to all the
classes
and seminars I need...to create my passive income! For example, I will even
have a professional, successful author review my e-book!
So, to conclude: make a promise to yourself. Don't waste your time setting
goals (that is if you really want them to happen:)!
