Downstream to Your Dreams
I wish you a wonderful new year 2008!
I wish you will easily rush down the river towards your dreams this year.
Remember, all your dreams are down the river.
Harry Palmer, philosopher, author of Living Deliberately and the Avatar
materials reminds us that "nothing can be dis-created unless it is
experienced fully and appreciated."
Think about this!
As long as you don't appreciate your experience, your creation keeps
existing!
Humans are not the only creations that need to feel loved and appreciated to
fulfill
their mission on this earth. Everything that exists is consciousness; and
every creation needs to be accepted and experienced fully.
In fact, the only reason for a creation to be at all is to be accepted and
to be fully experienced.
When this is accomplished, then the creation can be dissolved back into the
flow
of pure consciousness. That is when you can move down the river towards your
next creation
of health and riches.
I can hear your angry thoughts from here:
But, how can I accept my illness?
How can I go with the flow when I am broke?
How can I let myself fully experience what is?
It is impossible!
It is too painful.
Yes, it is painful as long as you judge the creation.
So how, when you are in such painful place, can you stop judging?
How can you live in non-judgment?
How can you go with the flow?
How can you accept what is?
It can happen naturally, bit by bit. You can live your life and slowly
come to a place of non-resistance, and be at peace with what is.
But last week I promised you a way to accelerate your release of judgment.
It will allow you go let go of the oars and move down the river swiftly
towards your next creation.
There is actually a way to train your brain to release judgment.
You have to know that a judgment is simply a viewpoint, a way you see
something. And you have to realize that
there are thousands of different viewpoints available for each situation.
It is not unusual to adopt a viewpoint, believe it is the only way
to look at the situation, and get stuck seeing it that way.
Here is a powerful exercise that will train your brain to be flexible again.
It will allow you to live your life in a non-judgmental state:
Take a glass of water. Look at it. Feel how a glass feels.
Let yourself experience it fully without judgment.
Just feel. Just experience what it is to be a glass of water.
No judgment at all, just like it is!
What a relief to feel something without any judgment on it.
Appreciate it.
This is the true viewpoint of source.
No judgment. Just an experience of consciousness.
Now find a judgmental thought about the glass. For example: "It is dirty".
Feel how immediately it changes how
you feel about the glass. You cannot even feel the glass anymore; you are
just feeling
the disgust produced by the judgment... the belief that there is something
wrong with this glass.
Now, shift your view point, find another one that feels better.
Have fun thinking of as many viewpoints you can have about this glass. Be
creative.
It may be the glass of your favorite mentor. It may be the glass of an Aids
patient....or of your
mother in law :)
Do the same with several other objects and situations and see how many
different
viewpoints you can come up with. It is infinite. Observe how each viewpoint
is going
to taint powerfully your experience of the situation.
See how powerful a judgment is? It never allows you to purely experience
something. It
is a thief of experience. It replaces what is with another experience.
Change the belief/judgment about the object, then you will change your
experience of it; you
will be more or less stressed, tensed. You may feel really good, even though
the glass is still the same. Nothing has changed... only your viewpoint;
only your judgment
about it.
Now look at the situation you are in. Just see it as it is, without
judgment, with no beliefs... just as it is.
Just a pure experience of life, just as source sees it... like it would be
experienced by a plant, an animal, a baby.
You should feel the relief. Now you have let go of the oars!
You are flowing down the river to your next destination!
All your dreams are waiting for you; and as you let go of the judgment and
just appreciate what is, you are on your way to seeing those dreams
fulfilled.
Happy New Creations this year!!!
