Are you out of your mind? Good!

Have you ever wondered why so many different belief management
techniques work? For example, The Sedona Method, NLP, EFT, BSFF
are all good belief management tools.

Why is that?

What is the common component that makes all of them work so well?

The answer is simple:
They all get you out of your mind! Let me explain... most
of us live most of our life in our mind. We end up believing that we
are our mind. We feel that we have no control over what we think.

Well, that is true and false. It depends. You see, you think in
pictures. Your mind is like a movie theater, running movies all the
time, with you as the main character in them. There are sound tracks,
inner dialogues, pictures, colors, sounds, odors etc....

This is how we think. We spend most of our lifetime as the character
of these movies. We feel the pain of the character; we are in the
movie of our mind. We feel it with all our senses. The problem is
that as long as we are in the movie we are totally powerless to
change the course of the script, the inner dialogues, or any of it.

We are trapped into it. We believe we have no power over what is
going on in our mind. We believe that if we think something, or if
we believe something, it means it is true.

...That there is nothing to do about it. It is the only possible
reality.

But listen, there is another perspective that we humans have that we
forget to explore: We have the ability to get out of the picture
and observe the movie from a neutral perspective. And the great
thing about it is that as soon as we take that perspective we have
tremendous power to change what is going on. We become the director
of the movie.

We immediately have the ability to decide what to do with the sound
track and the dialogues. We have this power simply because we are in
alignment with our source energy, our higher self.

Even if we don't change the course of the present moment, we can
change the sound track, the inner dialogues, the way the character
experiences the event. We have actually total control over how our
character feels and thinks about every experience.

Remember the principles of the law of attraction. When you feel OK
with what is, you automatically begin changing what you are
attracting; and the movie script is able to evolve in the direction
you prefer to take it. There are two advantages to managing your
thoughts, as the director of your movie:

1- You, as the character, are better able to feel every moment, even
feeling peace where peace didn't seem possible before;
2- By changing the way you feel in the present moment you are changing the
script, creating new possibilities, and attracting more situations that
feel good! In a few words... you have regained total control over
your life!

If you think I am exaggerating, read what Napoleon Hill
tells us in Think and Grow Rich:

'You have absolute control over but one thing, and that is your
thoughts. This is the most significant and inspiring of all facts
known to man! It reflects man's divine nature. This divine
prerogative is the sole means by which you may control your own
destiny. If you fail to control your own mind, you may be sure you
will control nothing else.'

So we know that managing our thoughts is not only possible but
necessary to having a happy and successful life. But how do we do
that? The field of belief management is full of strange and
seemingly diverse techniques. Which one works the best?

The good news is that they all work. They all use the same core method. Let's
take the Sedona Method, for example. In the Sedona Method you ask
yourself four questions: 1. Can I welcome this feeling (that I've
been resisting)? 2. Can I let it go? 3. Will I let it go? 4. When?

This is a very powerful process. Why? Well, first you welcome
the feeling. There is no way you can get control over something that
you either resist or that you deny exists. So at that stage you are
IN the scene. You are IN your mind. You are feeling that thought.

But as soon as you ask yourself 'Can I let it go?' you shift from
inside the thought to being an observer of it. Then you choose what
to do with it. That is when you are in your power, in your higher
self's shoes. That is when you decide! Do you want to change it?
Do you want to keep it? YOU DECIDE. If you know NLP, or other
effective tools such as the Q-Word method, I have developped,
you will notice the same pattern.

1st you accept/discover/welcome what you think/feel.
2nd you observe it, get out of it. You change your view point from inside it (being it)
to outside of it. 3rd you decide what you want to do with it (use the
power you have as the creator of your life, as your higher self).

The Q-Word method (fully described in my e-book: M-Power)
is powerful because it uses this approach also: 1st, feel the
feeling/thought you want to eliminate; 2nd, recognize that it is a
belief/emotion (so you are looking at it from the outside, you are
shifting perspective); 3rd, decide to dissolve it and repeat your
Q-Word with this intention.

So, for example, think of something you are resisting; something
you don't want to keep feeling. Let's say you feel anger towards
someone you know, and you want to stop feeling that way. 1st, get
in touch with this anger (you are feeling it in your body). 2nd, say
to yourself: I clear all the anger I have about Joe (you see you are
now outside of it; you are managing it, making the decision to clear it).
3rd, with the INTENTION to clear it, dissolve it with your favorite method.
If you know the  Q-Word method, just repeat your Q-Word for 30 seconds or so.

Check how you feel. If there is still some anger, repeat the process until
it is totally dissolved. Keep clearing during your day. You are not a
victim of your thoughts. You can change them as you prefer! The
more you clear your resistance, the closer you get to living in your
higher self and having the power of creating your life as you prefer.

...so have fun getting out of your mind this week!

Warmly,
