The Simple Way to Create Your Day


One of the struggles I had for a long time as a home-based business owner was organizing
my time in a way that was effective and focused.

On the internet I stumbled onto Simpleology. It is a system to help you create and structure your daily routine so that you become very efficient. I finally got back to it several
weeks ago and was ready to use the tools.

I was in awe at how the step by step system actually helped me create my day. It is a focusing
tool that integrates perfectly what we know about the law of attraction. It is a combination of mindset
exercises (that allow you to focus and make clear intentions for the day and relate them to your big goals)
and dreams (to help you make them a reality).

Today I am going to share Simpleology with you. Although this is my version of the process, it is very close to the version
found on the internet at http://www.simpleology.com

Just follow the steps in the morning and you will have a very productive day.

A productive day is a day in which you actually do 3 to 5 things that advance you towards
your goal. It is not about trying to do hundreds of things and ultimately never doing any of them.

So if you are ready to create your day...
get a new binder with separation tabs:

- My dump list and to do list (blank sheets of paper)
- My daily target practice sheet (see below: instructions on how to prepare your to-do list and your mindset for
the day)
- My targets (long term... 6 months - 3 years) , medium term (3-6 months), and short term (one week)
- My mental lock-box (things you would need to do, but not today or now)
- My dream catcher (for any great idea that comes into your mind during the day which, rather than focusing you on your to-do list, might actually distract you from it)
- My delegation station (what you will delegate, to whom, and when it is due)
- My journal (at the end of the day you review your achievements, the importance of them, and what is the next step)

And here is my Daily Target Practice Sheet: (intructions of what to do in the morning after you
have mediated or done some sort of physical activity for your body/mind and after you have arrived at your office).

DAILY TARGET PRACTICE

1- SAY OUT LOUD:

"Taking a few moments now to start my day with my Daily Target Practice will double or triple
what I could have accomplished today without it. This process will clear my mind and set me on fire
with enthusiasm."
Let’s get started.


2- CLEAR YOUR WORK PLACE - no telephone, no e-mail, no disturbances!!!

3- GET YOUR BINDER

4- LIST ALL THE “MUST DO” ITEMS on your white sheet of paper in the DUMP LIST
area of your binder. Read your Dream Catcher of yesterday and your lock-box to see
if anything needs to be added to the list.

5- THINK ABOUT TIME OR ENERGY LEECHES in your routine, and WHAT COULD
SAVE YOU TIME OR ENERGY-
ADD THE ACTION YOU CAN TAKE ON YOUR DUMP LIST.
(ex: Outsourcing, systemize)

6- REVIEW YOUR MAJOR TARGETS: Read each major target sheet you have created
(What is your major target? Be specific, and tell why it is important to you )
ADD ACTIONS ON YOUR DUMP LIST THAT WILL GET YOU CLOSER TO YOUR
MAJOR TARGET

7- NOW: DECIDE what you will do with the items on the dump list:
DO IT
DUMP IT
DELIBERATE-

9- MOVE YOUR DELIBERATE to your mental lock-box - close the box mentally - stop thinking about it.

10- MOVE THE “DO IT” TO YOUR "DAILY TARGET SHEET/TO-DO LIST":
Chose: (check mark on the side )
SCHEDULE IT- write it in your software if needed
TO DELEGATE - TO SOMEONE
- TO THE UNIVERSE (delegate it to the universe when your intuition tells
you so)

11- CLEAN UP YESTERDAY'S TO-DO LIST, TODAYS DUMP LIST, AND THE DREAM CATCHER (Whenever during the day you have an idea that crosses your mind, write it on the dream catcher)

12- MAKE A PROMISE TO YOURSELF: Read out loud…

“As I move through these targets one by one I will do so relentlessly with the focus of my power. I will not stop or do anything else until I have hit each and every one. If any distracting thoughts, ideas, or worries come to mind, no matter how seemingly important, I will immediately write them down on my dream catcher and get back to my daily targets. I will not check my messages, answer my phone, or allow myself to be distracted in any way until I have completed every one of my Daily targets.”

13- VISUALIZE YOUR MAJOR TARGET (Look at your Dream Board, feel it, see it, hear it…) and then
14- VISUALIZE YOURSELF KNOCKING OUT EACH TARGET RELENTLESSLY AND EFFORTLESSLY

15- SWICH YOURSELF ON: Stand up, SMILE, chose to be happy, …

16- CLAP YOUR HANDS THREE TIMES AND SAY “relentless focused action!”

17- GO
