The Simplest Way to Live Your Life as a Creator: Decide
I spent time this holiday season thinking about what I
want
for this new year. And it became very clear that what I want
most is to live fully as the powerful creator that I am.
I will stop kidding myself by believing in my limitations. On a
moment-to-moment basis I will remember that I create my reality,
and that I create it deliberately.
And then the desire came to me...
I want the concept of creation to be so simple that it could be
narrowed down to a single word!
A simple word that would act as a trigger and remind me clearly of
what to do.
I was reading the calendar of Abraham-Hicks. (Yes, I am down
to reading a calendar as I have nothing else on the calendar to read
anymore).
It was wonderful to read, and fast, each page having a lesson, each
month having a theme.
As I was asking, the answer jumped off the page.
It was simple, clear, easy to understand... a common experience
that everyone can relate to.
Simply:
Creating is DECIDING!
Decide, expect it to be, then it is!
See what Abraham says about making decisions:
"Make decisions about what you want--and then expect
the physical manifestation of those decision."
Deciding is the key!
It is that simple!
Abraham-Hicks confirms what I had experienced as well as my intuition
about the creation process, summing it up in one word!
What I love about this word, DECIDING, is that everyone can understand it.
Deciding, you see, is a very common experience. It is something
that everyone can relate to. Everyone can remember a time of decision.
Everyone can remember the feeling they got at that moment... a feeling of
certitude, of total alignment. Everyone can remember a time when they
decided
something to the point that "nothing would stop them"; and then they saw it
manifest in their lives.
The feeling of decision making at its purest vibration is when you feel
that you don't even leave a choice to the universe. IT IS, because you have
decided it is!
When you get to this level of alignment you have not a shade of doubt.
Pure decision! It feels absolutely fantastic.
So I got my answer. I will now, as often as possible, remember to decide
what I want; then I will relax about it and allow it to happen.
What I had not understood, up to now, is that I had been using the decision
state as a test that allowed me to know if I was in total alignment or not.
But, in fact, it is much more than a test. It is what we are
here to do:
Make decisions about what we want!
It is our mission. We came to be deliberate creators and to have fun with
it.
Making decisions about what, you may ask? Not only about important
things, but about everything.
When you go to bed, when you read a book, when you are about
to call someone.... live your life deliberately, chose, and decide
what results you want before you begin this new segment of life.
You may not know at first what you really want. This is where
contrast comes in handy. Contrast shows you clearly what you don't want,
so that you become clear about what you do want.
"And once you are clear about what you want, once you have
zeroed in on it and you know what you want --it is on its way
to you. It is done. The manifestation of it will probably follow
later, because there is, most often, enough resistance so
that you don't have it instantly." A-H
As Esther asked the universe to help her do more and more of her
"to do list", and as it was taken care of by the Universe every time
(often without any actions to be taken from her part),
she realized that her work really was the decision!
"Make more decisions, in every day, about what you
are wanting..."
Just notice what you are not wanting; and then,
as soon as possible, change your focus and decide what you are wanting!
Beware, we tend to remain stuck on what we don't want, focusing
all of our attention and decisions upon what we don't want. But the
universe doesn't hear "no"... it only feels your focused attention
and your state of absolute decision about this subject, so it creates
it.
I also learned that:
"As you make more decisions about what you are wanting
your inner being will give you more specific guidance about
whether you are on track."
So once you have made a decision, the creation is made.
All you have to do is expect it. Listen to your guidance
system which gears you towards it. (Remember my apartment
story; the guidance was very clear and loud
because I was extremely precise in what I wanted and when I wanted it !)
So once you have made a clear decision about what you
want you will feel the power and the alignment it has on you.
It feels fantastic. It feels empowering. It is a "nothing will stop
you" kind of feeling.
Train yourself to make more and more decisions about what
you want. Make decisions on small things every time you
enter a different segment of the day. Then listen to the
guidance that is leading you towards what you want.
Life is that simple.
