Creating Space for the
Creation
I had a client before I left for my vacation in France
this month who
told me that she could easily create the small
things in her life, but she was still waiting for "The Biggie" to manifest.
Where was it, she wondered?
Great question.
I told her that there is no way the biggy would come until she makes space
for it.
This sounded like a revelation to her. She asked me,
"But how do you make space?"
Well, to make space for a new creation that seems too large for your
universe at present, you need to first expand your identity--- how you
define yourself.
Remember, your own "self-definition" is the most important belief of
all.
It creates space into which what you want can be attracted..
For example, if you define yourself as a $32,000/year person, this is
exactly what you are attracting and there is no room for more income.
You have set your limits and the universe obeys you.
This means you have to believe you are a different person before you
can do and have all that you want.
This means that if you want to be wealthy and you are not presently defining
yourself in this way, you are not going to be able to
attract the ideas, the opportunities, and the money you desire. It is a fact
that when you ask it is given, but then you need to be ready to accept it.
To be ready means to believe in it; you need to
believe you are a wealthy person.
In other words, believe you are an individual who:
- deserves to have money
- can attract money
- can keep the money
- is already abundantly wealthy (grateful for what you have)
...and is just attracting more of it...
The problem is that as long as you are not rich, you cannot have wealth!
It was a little more than a year ago when my son told me one evening,
"Mom, with all the books you are reading on the millionaire
mind, you are going to be a millionaire-mom one day."
And It dawned on me that I had not even begun to define myself as such.
I realized that I was a long way from becoming wealthy if I didn't change
the way I saw myself!
So, I began to affirm, "I am a millionaire mom."
And soon afterwards, I began to have ideas and take actions
that bring me closer every day to that reality.
Before I even dared affirm it, there was no room for it to happen.
I was not a magnet for the solutions and infinite possibilities that exist
until I expanded my self-definition..
And remember, creating a new "you" is a process.
It often takes some time. Unless you are so motivated that
you decide to work on it for a full day utilizing belief management
tools, you cannot achieve alignment.
if you simply let life be, it could take a tremendous amount of time. You
can accelerate the process by declaring your affirmation and repeating it.
The easiest way I have found is to ask the universe to
create events and circumstances that will help put you in
alignment and begin believing in what you want to believe.
(For example: Universe. I would love it if you could help me
believe that I am an enlightened millionaire.)
As you are not at crossroad with this request, it will be
easy for the universe to begin delivering proof and thoughts
that help you believe in yourself!
One of the first events I attracted that helped me tremendously was
an invitation to a free teleseminar
that ended up dissolving one of my most limiting beliefs about being wealthy
in one hour:
"It is not a question of chance (this was the limiting belief I had),
but becoming wealthy is a process that can be
learned, and there are very specific systems that get you there".
I immediately felt that I had released a big chunk of doubts and
decided to learn how to create wealth. I realized that slowly, other events
one after the other came to help me overcome the next big limiting belief...
So, if you are wondering why your "biggie" is not happening,
ask yourself this question: Who do I need to be to have what I
want?
Then ask the universe to help you believe that this is who you truly are
already!
Remember, don't wait for "The Biggie" to land your lap; it won't unless you
make room for it!
